1) The Right to Access Services. Patients receiving healthcare, their relatives and every individual who approaches our hospital has the right to access all our services in a comfortable environment that respects social values and safeguards dignity, safety and peace of mind, without discrimination on the grounds of culture, religion, language, race or denomination. Our patients have the right to be informed about the diagnostic and treatment options offered by our hospital and how to access these services.

2) Right to Information and Consent. Our patients: • Through themselves or their legal representatives, regarding the proposed medical procedures and

  • The potential risks or benefits of each initiative,
  • Alternatives to the proposed initiatives,
  • They have the right to receive full information, in a language and manner they can understand, regarding the complications and health conditions that may arise as a result of not receiving treatment
  • Provided they submit their request in writing, our patients are entitled to receive a written copy of all their medical records.
  • Once our patients have been informed about matters such as the risk of serious side effects associated with their condition, the risk of death, recovery-related issues and the outcome of treatment, they have the right to decide whether to accept or refuse the proposed treatment.
  • Should our patients exercise this right, they shall be deemed to have ‘given their consent’ to the procedures to be carried out.
  • Patients who refuse the recommended treatment shall not be deprived of the institution’s other care and treatment options.
  • Our patients have the right to be informed about the proper assessment and treatment of the condition they are complaining of.
  • Our patients and their families (relatives) have the right to receive information about donating organs and other tissues.
  • Our patients have the right to be clearly informed about the hospital’s mission.

3) The Right to Know, Choose and Change Healthcare Staff Our patients have the right to be informed of the identities, roles and titles of the doctors, nurses and other healthcare staff responsible for their treatment, and to choose and change them.

4) The Right to Choose and Change Healthcare Institutions and Organisations Our patients have the right to choose and evaluate healthcare institutions and organisations, provided that the procedures and conditions set out in the relevant legislation are complied with.

5) The Right to Refuse or Discontinue Treatment Except in cases where treatment is required by law, and provided that the patient bears responsibility for any adverse consequences that may arise, the patient has the right to refuse treatment that is planned or currently being administered, or to request that it be discontinued.

6) The Right to Privacy Our patients have the right to receive care in an environment that respects their privacy throughout the entire treatment process.

The health and medical status of all individuals who seek treatment at our hospital, as well as all their personal details, are protected in such a way that they remain confidential even after their death. This information relating to the patient may be disclosed only with the patient’s express consent or by court order.

7) The Right to Be Treated with Respect Our patients have the right to undergo examinations and receive treatment in a respectful, caring and friendly environment, whilst their personal dignity is upheld at all times and under all circumstances.

8) Right to Request a Consultation (Second Opinion) Our patients have the right to request a consulting physician regarding their diagnosis and treatment. The consulting physician recommends a course of treatment, but the patient’s primary physician must approve the procedure.

9) The Right to Practice Religious Obligations Our patients have the right to freely practice their religious obligations, regardless of their religious affiliation, as long as it does not interfere with their treatment.

10) Right to Safety: Everyone has the right to be safe in a healthcare facility and to expect safety there.

Our hospital takes the necessary measures to protect and ensure the safety and security of patients, visitors, and their companions.

At our hospital, appropriate protective measures have been put in place for children, people with disabilities, and the elderly (those who are alone, in need of care, or unaccompanied).

11) Right to Have a Caregiver and Visitors: Our patients have the right to receive visitors and have a caregiver present in accordance with the procedures and guidelines established by our hospital.

12) Right to File Complaints, Provide Feedback, and Make Suggestions: Patients and their families have the right to have the hospital’s complaint mechanism initiated, reviewed, and resolved in the event of a violation of patient rights, and to be informed of the outcome.

13) Healthcare Facility Rules and Procedures: Our patients have the right to be informed about the hospital rules and procedures that apply to them.

14) Examination and Treatment Fees: Our patients have the right to inquire about treatment fees prior to treatment and to request and receive a receipt or invoice for the fees paid in exchange for the services they receive.
